Breeding Quality Gordon Setters For The Field and Home |
We are a small breeder located in Minnesota that produces one to two litters of great field bred Gordon Setter Puppies a year. Our main goal at Inverness Gordon Setters is to better the breed that we have come to love. We do this by ensuring we are producing a dog that is bold, hunts for the gun and is a pleasure to live with the rest of the time. We evaulate both sides for desireable and undesireable traits to make sure only the best come out in our pups. We expect our dogs to have a rock solid point and to be a rocket in the field. We also want a friendly well socialized dog. When we come home in the evening after a long day hunting or working we expect our dogs to hang out with us in the yard or in the house curled up by us on the sofa. Our Gordons have an eagerness to please, are very quick to learn, and are joy to have as a family pet and hunting companion. Our activities with our Gordon Setters, Will, Charlie, and Mack include some tourament hunting events in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa as well as wild bird hunting in Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, and Oklahoma. We will also be taking part in AKC hunt tests this spring in Minnesota. If you would like to see our dogs in action get in touch with us and we can let you know where we are to schedule a showing.
